ISLAMABAD, Apr 13 (APP):Pakistan’s security agencies, in an effective intelligence-based operation, have arrested three individuals allegedly involved in espionage activities for India’s intelligence agency, RAW.
According to sources, the accused belong to Narowal, Bahawalpur, and District Neelum in Azad Kashmir.
The arrested individuals reportedly confessed that they were lured through certain social media platforms with offers of money and relationships with women in exchange for access to sensitive information. Payments were allegedly made to the suspects via local digital bank, cryptocurrency wallets, and bank accounts.
During the investigation, the suspects admitted to maintaining continuous contact with individuals, including women, believed to be associated with RAW through social media channels.
Sources further stated that cases were registered against the accused under the Official Secrets Act. Following legal proceedings, the courts handed down sentences.
