ISLAMABAD, Apr 10 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Sohail Ashraf visited the Red Zone to review security arrangements in view of the movement of foreign guests in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Friday that the IGP briefed officers deployed on duty about the nature and sensitivity of their assignments.
He said comprehensive and foolproof security arrangements had been ensured across the Red Zone to facilitate the safe movement of foreign delegations.
The official said the officers were directed to remain highly vigilant and perform their duties with utmost professionalism.
He added that strict monitoring and coordination among security personnel were being ensured to maintain a secure environment in the capital.
