ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (APP):Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain on Sunday said Imran Khan was a visionary Prime Minister of Pakistan taking all possible measures to uplift the country.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the PTI’s vote bank was mostly comprised of middle class and they better understand the vision of Imran Khan.
The minister said the government would never compromise on corruption, having zero tolerance in that regard, adding accountability would be held across the board without any discrimination.
. Replying to a question, he said Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar was a humble and brave person, and belonged to an educated family.
Commenting on opposition’s all parties conference, he said if the government accepted their demand and provided relief to their leaders, or politicians having corruption cases, then the opposition would appreciate government for strengthening democracy, otherwise “democracy” was in danger in the country. Elements involved in corruption would face punishments as per law, he added.
To a question, he said Pakistan Television would be upgraded as par the international standard and taxes would be imposed on foreign dramas.
He said Pakistan enjoy cordial ties with Saudi Arabia, and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) holds great economic potential.
