The victims, including Ayaz Ahmed, a resident of Haripur, were traveling together when the incident occurred.

WAH CANTT, Apr 8 (APP):A tragic accident on Faisal Shaheed Road in the Taxila Police Station area on Wednesday left one person dead and another injured when a garbage collection truck collided with their motorcycle. The victims, including Ayaz Ahmed, a resident of Haripur, were traveling together when the incident occurred.
Police sources reported that Ayaz Ahmed died on the spot, while his friend sustained injuries and was immediately shifted, along with the deceased, to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital for medical attention.
The truck involved in the accident belongs to the Rawalpindi Solid Waste Management Company and was reportedly moving at high speed at the time of the collision.
Taxila Police have registered a case against the truck driver and launched an investigation into the incident.
