The conference was widely appreciated as an important step towards strengthening higher education, scientific awareness, and research culture in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while also highlighting the role of women’s universities in advancing education, research, and leadership among female students, said a press release.
Vice Chancellor of the varsity Dr Ghazala Yasmeen said the conference reflects the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and research promotion.
She emphasized that women’s universities play a vital role in preparing young female scholars to tackle emerging scientific and environmental challenges, particularly in the context of climate change and ecosystem protection.
Secretary Higher Education Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Muhammad Israr, who attended as chief guest, appreciated the university’s efforts in organizing an international-level academic event.
He noted that such conferences are essential for fostering research culture, scientific thinking, and quality higher education in the province.
He reaffirmed the department’s commitment to supporting universities in promoting research, innovation, and academic development, especially in institutions focused on female education and empowerment.
He also inaugurated a book fair on the occasion.
Dr. Gulnaz Parveen, Co-Chair and main organizer of the conference, was praised for her dedicated efforts in bringing together national and international scholars, researchers, and experts on a unified platform.
