Murder suspect among two held in separate police operations

The district police have intensified their crackdown on crime, arresting two suspects in separate operations, including one involved in a blind murder case, and recovering weapons from their possession.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Apr 08 (APP):The district police have intensified their crackdown on crime, arresting two suspects in separate operations, including one involved in a blind murder case, and recovering weapons from their possession.
Acting on the directives of District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmed, a police team led by DSP Paroa Muhammad Saleem Khan Baloch, along with SHO Gomal University Police Station Umar Iqbal Marwat, conducted a successful operation and apprehended Gul Zaman alias Gulla, son of Aurangzeb, a resident of a settlement near Darya Khan Bridge. He was allegedly involved in a blind murder case and was taken into custody along with the weapon used in the crime.
In another operation, the police arrested Liaqat, son of Muhammad Ismail over a charge of possessing illegal arms. A 30-bore pistol along with seven rounds of ammunition was recovered from his possession.
The further investigations are underway from the both arrested suspects.
DSP Paroa Muhammad Saleem Khan Baloch reiterated that police operations against criminal elements would be continued without any discrimination.
