Five ships, Stephanie-C, Ocean Helios, Xin Ao Tai-1, Lucky Chem and Corallo-I carrying Container, Steel Coil, Palm oil, Chemicals and Gasoline, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and FOTCO oil Terminal respectively on Tuesday.
Shipping Activity at Port Qasim
KARACHI, Apr 08 (APP):Five ships, Stephanie-C, Ocean Helios, Xin Ao Tai-1, Lucky Chem and Corallo-I carrying Container, Steel Coil, Palm oil, Chemicals and Gasoline, berthed at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi-Purpose Terminal, Liquid Cargo Terminal, Engro Vopak Terminal and FOTCO oil Terminal respectively on Tuesday.
Meanwhile five more ships, MSC Miraya-V, Chemroad Dita, Kaifan, Galaxy Gas and Van Leopard with Container, Palm oil, Gas oil, LPG and Coal also arrived at outer anchorage on same day.
Eight ships were engaged at PQA berths during the last 24 hours, out of them two ships, Stephanie-C and Propel Wisdom left the port on today morning, while three more ships, Ocean Helios, Elina-II and Lucky Chem are expected to sail on today afternoon.
Cargo volume of 117,801 tones comprising 117,777 tones imports cargo and 24 export cargo carried in 1,950 Containers (1,950 TEUs Imports & 0 TEUs Export) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
Fifteen ships at Outer Anchorage of the Port Qasim, out of them three ships, Galaxy Gas, African Raptor and CD Fortune & three more ships, Spirit of Bertram, Zhong Gu Kun Ming and APL Antwerp with LPG, Coal and Containers are expected to take berth’s EVTL, MW-4, PIBT and QICT on Wednesday.
