LAHORE, Apr 07 (APP): Registration for the auction of attractive vehicle number plates for the month of April is now open on the e-Auction mobile application and web portal, developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) in collaboration with the Excise & Taxation Department Punjab.
Citizens can conveniently register online until April 30 to participate in the bidding process and secure their preferred vehicle numbers from the comfort of their homes. The e-Auction platform offers number plates for motorcycles, motor cars, and commercial vehicles. Details of successful bidders will also be made available on the app, ensuring complete transparency.
In this regard, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated that the initiative aims to provide citizens with modern, reliable, and user-friendly digital services, enabling them to access government facilities with ease. He further added that the introduction of digital platforms has significantly enhanced transparency while saving time and resources.
The platform not only provides citizens with an opportunity to acquire customized vehicle numbers but also reflects the government’s commitment to its digital transformation vision leveraging technology to deliver efficient, transparent, and accessible public services.
