NWC completes water projects for six governorates in Jazan at SAR89 million

Jizan, Apr 7 (SPA/APP): The National Water Company (NWC) has implemented and operated a water transmission and pumping system to serve the mountainous governorates in Jazan Region that included the construction of transmission lines, reservoirs, and distribution stations at over SAR89 million.
This initiative aims to provide sustainable, high-quality water services in line with the objectives of the water sector under Saudi Vision 2030.
The projects include constructing transmission lines over 41 kilometers in length, two operational reservoirs with a capacity of 2,000 cubic meters each, and six tanker filling stations with a distribution capacity of approximately 20,000 cubic meters per day. NWC noted that these completed projects will serve over 89,000 people in the mountainous governorates of Al-Rith, Al-Aidabi, Al-Ardhah, Harub, Al-Dayer, and Fifa.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to implementing its projects according to approved timelines, applying the highest quality and performance standards, and ensuring a positive impact. It mentioned that these efforts aim to achieve the company’s strategic goal of providing sustainable water services to improve quality of life, in line with the objectives of the Quality of Life Program.
