LAHORE, Apr 06 (APP): A sessions court on Monday extended the interim bail of YouTuber Iqra Kanwal till April 23 in a case pertaining to the alleged promotion of a betting application.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Zulfiqar Ahmad Naeem heard the petition. During proceedings, Iqra Kanwal appeared before the court along with her counsel Saleem Chaudhry after the expiry of her interim bail period.
Her counsel informed the court that the petitioner had joined the investigation and responded to all questions asked during the inquiry.
The court directed the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) to submit its report at the next hearing.
The NCCIA had registered the case against Iqra Kanwal on allegations related to the promotion of a betting app.
