Police have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered over 3.5 kilograms of hashish during a crackdown against narcotics dealers in the provincial capital on Monday.

LAHORE, Apr 06 (APP): Police have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered over 3.5 kilograms of hashish during a crackdown against narcotics dealers in the provincial capital on Monday.
According to officials, Nawan Kot Police conducted operations on intelligence-based information and arrested an accused identified as Javed near City Adda, Band Road, while another suspect, Zaheer, was apprehended near Takoni Park, B-Block.
The police recovered a total of 3 kg and 580 grams of hashish from their possession. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation has been initiated.
SP Iqbal Town Sidra Khan appreciated SHO Nawan Kot Ashfaq Khan and his team for their performance, directing that no leniency should be shown towards drug peddlers.
