A sessions court on Monday extended the interim bail of Aroob Jatoi, wife of Ducky Bhai, till April 23 in a case pertaining to the alleged promotion of a betting application.

LAHORE, Apr 06 (APP): A sessions court on Monday extended the interim bail of Aroob Jatoi, wife of Ducky Bhai, till April 23 in a case pertaining to the alleged promotion of a betting application.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Zulfiqar Ahmad Naeem heard the bail petition. During proceedings, the investigating officer informed the court that the forensic report would require two more weeks and requested additional time for submission.
The court accepted the request and directed the investigating officer to submit the report at the next hearing.
Aroob Jatoi appeared before the court after the expiry of her interim bail period, upon which the court extended her pre-arrest bail.
The case has been registered by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency on allegations of promoting and encouraging the use of a betting app.
