The process of evacuation of illegal foreign residents from across Punjab is underway. According to Punjab Police sources, so far more than 34,000 illegal foreign residents have been deported, including Afghans, from across Punjab including Lahore, while 201 illegal residents are present at holding points.
Evacuation of 34,000 illegal foreign residents from Punjab
LAHORE, Apr 06 (APP): The process of evacuation of illegal foreign residents from across Punjab is underway.
According to Punjab Police sources, so far more than 34,000 illegal foreign residents have been deported, including Afghans, from across Punjab including Lahore, while 201 illegal residents are present at holding points.
The official sources further said that those deported include more than 13,000 men, 6,868 women and more than 14,000 children.
However, those deported include 10,665 with residence proof, 11,114 with Afghan citizen cards and 12,206 illegal foreigners.
