ISLAMABAD, Apr 06 (APP):The Rupee on Monday appreciated by 03 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs279.07 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs279.10.

According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs279.05 and Rs280.20, respectively.

The price of the Euro against the rupee increased by Rs0.63 to close at Rs322.81 from the previous day’s close of Rs322.18, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The Japanese Yen gained 01 paisa and closed at Rs1.75, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs0.49 and closed at Rs369.99 compared to the previous day’s Rs369.50.

The exchange rate of the Emirate and the Saudi Riyal came down by 02 paisa each to close at Rs75.97 and Rs74.33, respectively.
