ISLAMABAD, Apr 06 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police launched “Ghazi Week 2026” to pay tribute to its brave and decorated officers for their courage and sacrifices in maintaining peace in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Monday that the week-long initiative, from April 6 to April 12, would be observed across all divisions, where Ghazi and gallant officers would be honored with awards.
IGP Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi expressed pride in the bravery and dedication of police officers.
“Ghazi and brave officers are our pride,” the IGP Rizvi said, adding that Islamabad Police had written remarkable stories of courage and valor for the peace of the city.
He said the force stood as a shining example of sacrifice and resilience, reflecting its commitment to protecting citizens.
Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police reiterated its resolve to continue recognizing the sacrifices and services of its officers and to uphold the highest standards of policing.
