ISLAMABAD, Apr 06 (APP):The National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) appointed Mr. Amir Goraya as its new Chief Executive Officer on Monday, marking a strategic shift to strengthen Pakistan’s disaster and climate resilience framework through enhanced governance and innovative financing amid escalating climate threats.
Goraya, a seasoned expert in public sector reform and large-scale development programmes, assumes charge immediately, bringing his proven track record in institutional strengthening and strategic leadership to the helm of the fund.
The Board of Directors welcomed the appointment, expressing confidence that Goraya’s leadership will solidify NDRMF’s position as Pakistan’s premier platform for disaster risk management.
