ISLAMABAD, Apr 5 (APP):The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has raised concerns that the government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party is taking measures that are affecting the rights and sentiments of Kashmiris, and has appealed to the international community to pay attention and support a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute through dialogue.
According to Kashmir Media Service, APHC spokesperson Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas in a statement issued in Srinagar said the hegemonic ambitions of the Indian government and policies based on Hindutva ideology are a serious threat to regional and international peace and security.
He said the continuous killing of innocent Kashmiri youth in fake encounters and the illegal detention of thousands of Kashmiris in Indian jails, hundreds and thousands of miles away from their homes, expose the brutal face of the BJP government.
Advocate Abdul Rashid Minhas said India should remember that it can never demoralize the brave Kashmiri people through acts of oppression and tyranny and they will continue their struggle at all costs until the martyrs’ mission is completed.
The spokesperson urged the international community to stop India from following the path of Nazi Germany and put pressure on it to resolve the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the United Nations resolutions and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
