Ambassador Sheikh highlights Pakistan’s diplomatic ‘resurgence’ in conflict-ridden world

NEW YORK, Apr 04 (APP):: Amid severe global instability, driven by escalating conflict in the Middle East, Pakistan’s diplomatic resurgence has earned it a respected place in the comity of nations, Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh has said.

He was addressing a dinner hosted by the American Pakistani Foundation (APF) Board in New York on Friday. Pakistan’s Consul General in New York, Aamer Ahmed Atozai, accompanied the Ambassador.

Addressing a gathering of community leaders and professionals, Ambassador Sheikh commended the American Pakistani Foundation for its outstanding contributions and continued efforts toward the uplift, empowerment, and integration of the Pakistani-American community.

The Pakistani envoy emphasized the importance of such organizations in fostering unity, preserving cultural identity, and strengthening people-to-people ties between Pakistan and the United States.

He encouraged affluent members of the Pakistani diaspora to invest in Pakistan and play a proactive role in supporting its economic growth, stability, and long-term national development.
