PESHAWAR, Apr 04 (APP):The identities of eight Khwarij terrorists killed during an infiltration attempt in North Waziristan have been confirmed.
According to security sources, the security forces conducted a successful operation on April 1, eliminating all eight Khwarij terrorists.
Among those killed, two have been identified as Afghan nationals, according to security sources.
The first slain terrorist was identified as Ameer Hamza Haqyar, son of Abdul Karim, while the second, Ameer Abdul Rahim, son of Zarwali, belonged to Paktia, Afghanistan, the sources added.
Meanwhile, defense analysts said that this horrific incident has exposed the Afghan Taliban regime’s claim that it does not support terrorism in Pakistan.
In reality, the Afghan Taliban regime seeks to gain relief, time, and economic benefits from Pakistan under the guise of peace negotiations, they added.
They further stated that there has been no change in the extremist mindset of the Afghan Taliban regime, emphasizing that the operation “Ghazab lil-Haq” should continue with greater strength and intensity.
