ISLAMABAD, Apr 04 (APP): Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired an important meeting with SSP Investigation Islamabad Muhammad Usman Tariq Butt and DSP CIA to review the overall law and order situation in the federal capital.
An official told APP on Saturday that the meeting discussed in detail measures related to crime prevention, effective policing, patrolling system, prompt response, and public safety.
IGP Rizvi conducted a comprehensive review of ongoing initiatives aimed at improving security and strengthening policing mechanisms across the city.
Rizvi emphasized the need for enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring timely response to incidents, and adopting proactive strategies to curb crime.
He directed officers to further improve the patrolling system and ensure effective coordination among different units for better law enforcement.
The IGP reiterated that ensuring the protection of citizens and maintaining law and order remained the foremost priority of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police.
