ISLAMABAD, Apr 03 (APP): Pakistan’s rising squash star Muhammad Asim Khan has booked his place in the final of the World Championship Qualifying Event – Asia following a sensational semi-final victory over Hong Kong’s Ming Hong Tang.
In a thrilling five-set encounter, Asim Khan showcased his skill, determination, and resilience, overcoming a mid-match setback to clinch the win 3-2 (11-5, 11-8, 6-11, 9-11, 11-6) in a match that lasted 54 minutes.
After dropping the third and fourth games, Asim Khan regained his composure to dominate the decider, demonstrating why he is one of Pakistan’s top prospects in squash. The win brings him one step closer to his ultimate goal – qualifying for the World Squash Championship 2026.
