LAHORE, Apr 03 (APP):Lahore Police have arrested 1884 accused so far this year during the ongoing crackdown against illegal possession of weapons, display of weapons and aerial firing.
As many as 1882 cases have been registered against the arrested persons in different police stations of the city and a large quantity of illegal weapons including three Kalashnikovs, 37 rifles, 52 guns, 1684 pistols have been recovered from their possession.
In this regard, CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana says that the crackdown against law-breaking elements is being intensified to ensure the supremacy of law in the city.
