Reception in honor of Malakhara wrestlers returning after participation in Osaka Culture Festival

KARACHI, Apr 03 (APP):After the success of the Pakistan–Osaka Culture Festival in Japan, a grand reception ceremony was held at the Youth Development Center South Karachi in honor of the returning Malakhra wrestlers on Friday. The event was attended by Sindh’s Minister of Sports, Sardar Muhammad Bux Khan Mahar, and Sports Secretary Munawar Ali Mahesar.
At the start of the ceremony, the provincial minister presented shields and cash prizes to Malakhra wrestlers Munthar Ali Bugti and Qurban Ali, while other wrestlers who performed outstandingly in Japan were also awarded cash prizes.
The Sindh Sports Minister said that these athletes have brought honor not only to Sindh but to all of Pakistan.
Speaking to journalists, Sardar Muhammad Bux Mahar stated that through their efforts, the PCB has decided to organize the Pakistan Cup, which will begin after the PSL, with provincial teams participating. Sindh has already started preparing its team.
He further said that Sindh’s Malakhra wrestlers participated magnificently in the cultural event in Japan and also learned from the experiences of sumo wrestling
