ISLAMABAD, Apr 03 (APP): Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday has commended the police for successfully thwarting a suicide attack by militants at the Domel Police Station in Bannu. He offered strong condemnation of the attempt to target the civilian population.
The minister expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of five people, including women and children, in the incident. Extending heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs, he said his sympathies were entirely with the bereaved households.
Mohsin Naqvi also prayed for the swift recovery of the injured. He reaffirmed that Pakistan’s brave security forces remain fully vigilant and committed to defeating the malicious designs of militant elements.
The interior minister emphasized that the nation stands united with the families of the victims and will continue its efforts to ensure peace and security across the country.
