Heavy rains disrupt power supply across PESCO circles: Spokesman

PESHAWAR, Apr 03 (APP):Continuous heavy rainfall since last night affected power supply across all circles of the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO).
PESCO spokesperson in a statement here Friday said that electricity supply from 112 feeders was disrupted due to the heavy torrential rain. The affected feeders include 37 in Peshawar, 26 in Bannu, 22 in Khyber, 13 in Mardan, 4 in Swabi, 5 in Swat, and 5 in the Dera Ismail Khan circle.
Repair work has been delayed due to the ongoing rain; however, restoration efforts will begin as soon as the weather improves, the spokesperson added.
