An anti-terrorism court on Thursday rejected bail applications of three workers of proscribed Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) in a case involving alleged arson, vandalism and attacks on police.

LAHORE, Apr 02 (APP):An anti-terrorism court on Thursday rejected bail applications of three workers of proscribed Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) in a case involving alleged arson, vandalism and attacks on police.
Judge Shahid Sikandar announced the verdict after hearing arguments from both sides.
The court dismissed the interim bail of accused Shehzad Alam, who had sought pre-arrest relief fearing detention. However, the accused left the courtroom before the decision was announced.
The court also rejected post-arrest bail petitions of Maqsood Ahmad and Mehran.
The accused were involved in violence against police personnel and incidents of arson and vandalism. The case is registered at Bhikhi Police Station, Sheikhupura.
