PEIRA notifies a four-day workweek for on-campus academic activities in PEIs

ISLAMABAD, Apr 02 (APP): Islamabad Capital Territory–Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (ICT-PEIRA) notified a four-day workweek for Private Educational Institutions (PEIs) operating within the Islamabad Capital Territory amid the government’s austerity and fuel conservation measures.
According to a notification issued on Thursday, “i5n pursuant to the approval of the Competent Authority and in continuation of the Government’s austerity and fuel conservation measures, it is hereby notified that all Private Educational Institutions (PEIs) operating within the Islamabad Capital Territory shall observe a four-day workweek (Monday to Thursday) for on-campus academic activities, with immediate effect and until further orders.”
All concerned have been directed to ensure strict compliance.
