PESHAWAR, Oct 26 (APP):Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman Friday said that support of the people of Jammu and Kashmir would continue till the realization of the lawful right of self-determination to the people of occupied Kashmir.
In his message on the eve of the Black Day 27th October, The governor said that “The 27th October is marked as the black day as a protest against the illegal, illogical and ill-wished occupation of Kashmir at the hand of Indian forces.”
The Kashmiris living across the world had been lodging their anguish and distrust ever-since on this Day in 1947 the Indian forces had forcefully stepped in the state against the will of the Kashmiri people. This inhuman act on part of the Indian forces was also the total negation of the internationally acknowledged norms of human rights.
“Today when the entire Pakistani nation, steadfastly in line with its principled stand, was standing shoulder to shoulder with their Kashmiri brethren for securing their right of determination, I also take the privilege to re-affirm the deeply felt sense of solidarity, spirit of staunch cohesion and unshakable brotherhood with our Kashmir brethren on my own behalf and on the behalf of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in particular,” he said.
He said this historical movement bears tremendous sacrifices being rendered by especially the oppressed Kashmiri people living in the Indian occupied part of Kashmir. The day long protest rallies and gatherings taking place today were also meant to realize the free world to take cognizance of the atrocities and human rights violations being committed by the Indian forces against the un-armed and oppressed people of the Indian occupied Kashmir.
“It is equally a way of expressing assurance on part of Pakistani people to remind their Kashmir brethren that they should never feel alone in their just struggle. The era of darkness and atrocities had to fade away and it would be Kashmir people to win in their cherished struggle of securing right of self-determination In-Sha-Allah the day is not far away when they would join their brethren living on this side of the Line of Control.
I pay homage to the sacrifices of our brethren and reiterate our unflinching and stealfort moral, diplomatic and political support for the just cause of the people of Jammu & Kashmir. This support will continue till the realization of the lawful right to self-determination of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.”
