DG NAB holds meeting with NMC officers on accountability framework

LAHORE, Apr 01 (APP):National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore Director General (DG) Mirza Faran Baig Wednesday chaired a meeting with a delegation of senior BS-20 officers of National Management Course (NMC-124) to discuss accountability framework and governance challenges.
The delegation received a detailed briefing on the bureau’s organisational structure, mandate and operational mechanisms.
During an interactive session, the DG highlighted anti-corruption measures and institutional performance, emphasising the importance of inter-institutional coordination for ensuring transparency and effective governance.
The delegation, which included senior police officers such as DIG Tayyab Hafeez Cheema and DIG Naeem Ahmed Sheikh, engaged in detailed discussions on key challenges of accountability in the public sector and ways to improve governance standards.
The role of the National School of Public Policy in training senior civil servants was also appreciated during the meeting.
The visit concluded with a shield distribution ceremony and a group photo, reaffirming commitment to continued collaboration between institutions.
