The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Wednesday issued a power suspension programme for Thursday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.

ISLAMABAD, Apr 01 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Wednesday issued a power suspension programme for Thursday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, in Islamabad Circle, electricity will remain suspended from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm in Taramri, Waheedabad, Kund Rajgan, King Hammad, Azad Shaheed, Lehtrar Road, F-8/1, F-8 Markaz, Meezan Bank and HC3 PIMS areas. Meanwhile, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, outages will affect Angori, T&T, Golf City and Tret feeders.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, power supply will remain disrupted from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in Japan Road and Jhandala areas.
Similarly, in Chakwal Circle, electricity will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur and CWO feeders.
In GSO Circle, outages will occur from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in FECHS (E-11/2), D-12/2, D-12/1, Services, Shah Allah Ditta, Northern Strip E-11 and Northern Strip-2. Additionally, from 08:00 am to 02:00 pm, Gujjar Khan, Hayat Sir Road, Kanger Thathi, Islam Pura, Dora Badhal, Thakra, ECM, from 07:00 am to 08:00 pm, Power Transformer T-2 132kv GSS Dandot, from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm, 132-KV Chakwal- Bhagwal- Talagang, 132KV Kahuta City- Palandri, from 09:00 am to 02:00 pm 132KV T/L new Wah Bahter More, and surrounding areas will remain closed.
The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time.
