Interfaith Harmony Committee Aims to Strengthen National Unity: Rajesh Kumar Hardasani

SANGHAR, Apr 01 (APP):Rajesh Kumar Hardasani, a member of the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee Pakistan, has said that the committee is a dignified and high-level government body comprising representatives of all religions from across the country.

Speaking to Deputy Director Information Sanghar Zafar Ali Mangi at his residence, Mr Hardasani stated that the committee was established on the special directives of Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir. He noted that its primary objective is to promote national cohesion and unity at a broader level.

He further said that the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee is actively working to foster interfaith harmony, tolerance, and sustainable peace in the country. The committee, he added, serves as a strong and unified voice against terrorism, extremism, and sectarianism.

Mr Hardasani emphasised that the Government of Pakistan and state institutions have consistently strived to promote peace, harmony, and brotherhood in society. In this context, he urged religious leaders of all faiths to play their due role in supporting this national mission by taking practical steps to encourage tolerance, mutual respect, and coexistence.

He expressed hope that such collective efforts would help further strengthen the foundations of a peaceful, stable, and united Pakistan.
