University of Wah joins COMSTECH Consortium of Excellence

WAH CANTT, Apr 1 (APP): The University of Wah (UW) has joined the COMSTECH Consortium of Excellence (CCoE), marking a key step towards enhancing international academic collaboration and research.
The development follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the COMSTECH Secretariat in Islamabad. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Jameel-Un-Nabi, along with Director ORIC Prof Dr Amjad Hassan, met Coordinator General COMSTECH Prof Dr Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary during the ceremony.
The consortium, operating under the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), brings together leading universities to promote cooperation, knowledge sharing, and capacity building across member states. UW’s inclusion reflects its commitment to advancing higher education, research, and innovation at an international level.
Under the partnership, UW will contribute to joint academic programmes, research initiatives, and student support schemes for OIC countries. The university has also pledged to expand opportunities for international students.
