KP CM expresses grief over rain-related casualties, directs speedy relief efforts

PESHAWAR, Mar 30 (APP):Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, on Monday expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property in rain-related incidents reported from various districts of the province.
He extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased and strength for the affected families to bear the loss with patience.
The CM also conveyed best wishes for the early recovery of those injured in the incidents and directed the administrations of concerned hospitals to ensure they receive timely and quality medical treatment.
He further instructed authorities to accelerate rescue and relief operations in the affected areas to provide immediate assistance to victims.
“The provincial government shares the grief of the affected families and will not leave them alone in this difficult time,” the CM said, assuring that all possible support would be extended to those impacted by the recent rains.
