ICT Police maintain high alert in Red Zone, SP Iqbal briefs personnel

ISLAMABAD, Mar 30 (APP):Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police officers remained actively deployed across the Red Zone and other parts of the district to ensure the safety and security of citizens, with Superintendent of Police (SP) Judicial Protection Unit Muhammad Iqbal Khan briefing personnel on their duties.

An official told APP on Monday that SP Judicial Protection Unit Muhammad Iqbal Khan visited various security points and reviewed duty arrangements of police personnel deployed in sensitive areas.
SP Iqbal briefed officers about the nature of their responsibilities and directed them to remain alert while performing their duties with professionalism and dedication.
He emphasized that ensuring the protection of citizens and maintaining law and order remained the foremost priority of Islamabad Police, adding that no negligence in security duties would be tolerated.
The SP Iqbal further instructed personnel to maintain strict vigilance, keep a close watch on suspicious activities, and immediately report any unusual situation to the relevant authorities.
He also stressed the importance of effective coordination among officers deployed in the Red Zone and across the district to ensure a prompt and effective response.
