ISLAMABAD, Mar 30 (APP):Faizabad and other key areas of the federal capital witnessed disruption in traffic flow on Monday due to rainwater accumulation and ongoing development work, prompting Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) to issue an advisory for commuters.
An ITP official told APP that traffic is being affected at Faizabad Skyways Adda side and Tramri Chowk due to accumulation of rainwater, causing slow movement of vehicles.
He said traffic flow is also facing disruption at Park Road underpass due to ongoing development work.
He said ITP officers are present on roads to ensure smooth flow of traffic and assist commuters.
He urged citizens to plan their travel with extra time to avoid inconvenience.
He said citizens should cooperate with traffic officials and demonstrate patience during peak hours.
He said for any assistance or guidance, citizens can contact the traffic helpline 1915 or emergency helpline 15.
