IGP Rizvi orders fast-track completion of National Police Hospital project

ISLAMABAD, Mar 29 (APP):Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi visited the under-construction National Police Hospital at Police Lines Headquarters and directed authorities to ensure its early completion with international standard facilities.
An official told APP on Sunday that the IGP Rizvi reviewed the pace and quality of construction work during the visit, which was also attended by DIG Headquarters, the project manager, and other senior police officers.

IGP Rizvi instructed the hospital administration to accelerate construction activities and emphasized that the project must be completed within the stipulated timeline while meeting global quality standards.
Rizvi said several welfare initiatives had been launched for Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police personnel, adding that the National Police Hospital was a flagship project aimed at improving healthcare facilities for the force.

He said the hospital would provide modern medical facilities to police officers, their families, and, in future, the general public, ensuring better access to quality healthcare services.
He added that efforts were underway to provide maximum relief and facilities to police personnel in all sectors, noting that such initiatives would not only enhance their well-being but also boost the morale of their families.
