CCD cops not to serve in Punjab Constabulary

LAHORE, Mar 27 (APP):The Punjab government has made an important decision for the Crime Control Department (CCD) personnel, who will no longer serve in the Punjab Constabulary.
According to an official letter issued here on Friday, personnel from other wings are usually sent to the constabulary on deputation of two years and one year, but the CCD personnel will get exemption from Punjab Constabulary, as clarified in the letter.
According to the letter, the CCD personnel will serve in their organisation permanently and will not be transferred to any other wing.
This letter has also been sent to all RPOs, CPOs and DPOs, including CCPO Lahore.
