RAWALPINDI, Mar 26 (APP):International leadership scholar Dr Rubina Feroze Bhatti has received a Congressional recognition in Washington, DC, jointly with Mike Brickley, for her role in strengthening Pakistan-United States relations and promoting economic diplomacy and inclusive development.

The award was presented at a Pak-US symposium organised by the Congressional Pakistan Caucus, recognising her efforts in fostering mutual trust and encouraging constructive engagement between the two countries.
Her work has contributed to strengthening public-private partnerships and creating opportunities for underserved communities, particularly in education, entrepreneurship and economic inclusion.
Dr Bhatti, in a post on her Facebook account, said, “Grateful to Honorable Tom Suozzi; Jack Bergman, #Co-Chair of the Congressional Pakistan Caucus; His Excellency Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, #Ambassador of Pakistan; Her Excellency Natalie A. Baker; and Ch. Mohsin Nawaz Ranjha, Co-Chair of the Steering Committee on the eradication of bonded labour, and Malik Shoaib Awan for their leadership and commitment to strengthening Pakistan–U.S. relations.
“I shared Punjab’s progress as a compelling example of how public–private collaboration can transform communities, and highlighted how U.S.–Pakistan investment partnerships and people-to-people engagement can accelerate initiatives that expand education, generate meaningful employment, and address long-standing social challenges.”
Chairman of the Shahbaz Bhatti Workers Movement Basharat Khokhar, in a statement, praised Dr Rubina Bhatti’s leadership and urged both governments to support individuals promoting people-to-people diplomacy, terming such figures bridges between nations.
