ISLAMABAD, Mar 26 (APP):In a significant step towards promoting holistic wellbeing of students in PEIs of capital, Islamabad Capital Territory Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (ICT-PEIRA) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Omer-e-Rawan Organization.

This strategic collaboration aims to establish a comprehensive framework for improving students mental, emotional, and physical health through structured awareness sessions and educational initiatives.

Through this MoU, both organizations have committed to jointly work towards fostering healthier and more supportive learning environments across Private Educational Institutions (PEIs) of Islamabad.

Under this partnership, a series of evidence-based awareness programs, workshops and interactive sessions will be conducted in private educational institutions. These initiatives will focus on key areas including mental health awareness, stress management, emotional regulation, and prevention of bullying. Additionally, emphasis will be placed on promoting physical health through guidance on nutrition, hygiene, and active lifestyles.

This collaboration also seeks to reduce stigma associated with mental health issues by encouraging open dialogue and building supportive school environments where students feel safe and empowered.

Through targeted interventions, the initiative will enhance students’ self-awareness and encourage positive behavioral and lifestyle choices among youth.

The MoU, effective from March 26, 2026, will remain valid for a period of three (03) years, with the provision for extension, upon mutual consent of both parties. Both organizations will designate focal persons to ensure effective coordination and implementation, while maintaining strict confidentiality and protection of students’ data.
