IESCO notifies power suspension programme

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Thursday issued a power suspension programme for Friday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.

ISLAMABAD, Mar 26 (APP):The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Thursday issued a power suspension programme for Friday, in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.

According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply will remain suspended in Rawalpindi City Circle from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in Shakrial feeder areas. Meanwhile, under the GSO Circle, power supply will remain disrupted from 7:00 am to 10:00 am in Park Enclave-1, PHA-1, Isolation Hospital, Khareparr, Waris Haveli, Scheme-1, and King Hammad University.

The power supply will also remain suspended from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on 132-KV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and 132KV Kahuta City–Palandri transmission lines, while from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, the 132KV transmission line at New Wah Bahter
More and surrounding areas will remain without electricity.

The IESCO management apologized to consumers for the inconvenience and said that power supply may be restored earlier than scheduled if the maintenance work is completed ahead of time
