Speaking during a meeting with a delegation of the Balochistan High Court Bar Association, led by its president Advocate Ataullah Langau, the governor highlighted that the legal profession carries broad influence and significant responsibilities.
Jaffar Mandokhail added that lawyers must actively raise public awareness about fundamental rights and duties while fostering patriotism among the younger generation. He noted that the legal community serves as a crucial bridge between the law and marginalized populations who often lack access to justice.
He underlined that lawyers play an essential role in ensuring affordable and timely justice for underprivileged and vulnerable segments of society. By fulfilling these responsibilities effectively, he said, legal professionals strengthen principles of justice, equality, and public service, leaving a lasting impact on society.
The governor described lawyers as guardians and servants of both the law and democracy, noting that their efforts help nurture democratic values and accountability within the public.
Reaffirming his administration’s commitment, Jaffar Mandokhail assured the delegation of full cooperation in safeguarding the rights of lawyers and addressing challenges faced by the legal community through sustainable solutions.
During the meeting, the delegation also extended an invitation to the governor to address members of the High Court Bar Association at a formal event.
