LAHORE, Mar 25 (APP): Commissioner Lahore Division Maryam Khan on Wednesday directed deputy commissioners to ensure daily monitoring of fuel stock, supply and distribution data, while emphasizing timely completion of development projects in line with set timelines and quality standards.
Chairing a divisional meeting attended by deputy commissioners of all four districts, she stressed the need for a coordinated strategy at the district level for all incoming agencies and authorities to improve governance and service delivery.
The meeting reviewed the provincial and Lahore Development Plans, performance indicators, and the overall fuel stock situation across the division. The commissioner conducted a detailed assessment of ongoing development schemes under both program.
Marryam Khan said that in line with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, equal importance is being given to revenue generation and municipal service delivery. She directed that all development projects at the tehsil level should be completed within specified timelines and deadlines, while maintaining quality standards. She further instructed districts to propose innovative ideas and suggestions to enhance their revenue potential.
The meeting was attended by DC Lahore Ali Ijaz, Additional Commissioner Hamid Mahmood Malhi, DC Sheikhupura Shahid Imran Marth, DC Nankana Sahib Rao Tasleem Akhtar, DC Kasur Asif Raza, ACG Wajeeha Samreen and other officers.
