LAHORE, Mar 24 (APP):YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, has approached a local court seeking removal of his name from the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL), arguing that it was added unlawfully.
Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo heard the petition filed through his counsel, Usman Latif. The petition stated that the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) placed his name on the PNIL list without issuing prior notices, calling the action illegal.
The court sought a report from the NCCIA and adjourned proceedings until March 26.
Separately, in a case related to the alleged promotion of a gambling app, interim bail proceedings of Ducky Bhai’s wife, Aroob Jatoi, were also heard.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Mansoor Ahmed Qureshi presided over the hearing, during which Aroob Jatoi appeared before the court and marked her attendance.
The court extended Aroob Jatoi’s interim bail until April 6 and directed the NCCIA to submit a report at the next hearing.
The NCCIA has registered a case against Aroob Jatoi over allegations of promoting a gambling application.
