At least 10 people were injured when the roof of a dilapidated mud house collapsed near Chowk Qureshi on Shah Jamal Road, Rescue 1122 said on Tuesday.

MUZAFFARGARH, Mar 24 (APP): At least 10 people were injured when the roof of a dilapidated mud house collapsed near Chowk Qureshi on Shah Jamal Road, Rescue 1122 said on Tuesday.

According to rescuers, the incident occurred when the weakened wooden beams failed under the weight of solar panels installed on the roof, causing it to collapse suddenly.

Rescue teams reached the scene promptly and pulled all 10 victims from the debris. Eight injured persons were shifted to hospital after receiving initial medical treatment, while two children were treated on the spot.

Officials confirmed that all injured individuals were out of danger.
