LAHORE, Mar 23 (APP): Commissioner Lahore Marryam Khan, in her message on Pakistan Day, termed March 23 a golden chapter in the country’s history and a symbol of unwavering national resolve.
She said that on March 23, 1940, a historic pledge was made with sincerity and conviction, which, within just seven years, culminated in the creation of Pakistan through unity, faith and immense sacrifices.
Highlighting the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, she said the vision embodied in the Lahore Resolution ultimately materialized into the establishment of an independent homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent.
The commissioner emphasized that no force can defeat a nation strengthened by visionary leadership and an aware and determined citizenry. She added that Pakistan was achieved after countless sacrifices, and its protection, stability and development remain a shared national responsibility.
