ISLAMABAD, Mar 23 (APP):Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Syed Imran Ahmed Shah on Monday extended heartfelt greetings to the nation on the occasion of Pakistan Day, emphasizing the need for unity and collective resolve to achieve national progress.
In his message, the minister said Pakistan Day served as a reminder of the struggle, sacrifices, and renewed commitment of the nation. He noted that the day reflected the political wisdom and historic struggle of the Muslims of the subcontinent.
He said March 23 laid the foundation for a separate identity and sovereignty for the Muslims of the subcontinent, ultimately leading to the creation of Pakistan.
The minister remarked that the establishment of the state of Pakistan represents the realization of a vision based on public welfare and social justice.
Highlighting the government’s priorities, Syed Imran Ahmed Shah said the protection and empowerment of vulnerable segments of society remained a top priority.
He added that policies aimed at building a welfare state were being implemented effectively, while digital systems are being utilized to ensure transparent and timely delivery of assistance.
The minister said the government measures to alleviate poverty are being strengthened, stressing that collective efforts are essential for building a strong, sovereign, and prosperous Pakistan.
