ISLAMABAD, Mar 21 (APP):On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Mishal Malik, wife of detained Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik, on Eid day extended heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah while calling attention to the continued suffering of oppressed Muslims worldwide, particularly in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and Palestine, urging unity, justice, and collective action.

Mishal Malik described Eid-ul-Fitr as a divine gift from Allah Almighty, granted as a reward for the worship performed during the Holy month of Ramazan.

She stressed that while Eid is a time of celebration, it is also a moment to remember those who are enduring hardship and oppression.

She pointed out that many Muslims remain imprisoned, including Yasin Malik, who has been in Indian custody for the past twelve years. Expressing deep emotional pain, she said countless Kashmiri families continue to live in separation, waiting to reunite with their loved ones.

“Even on Eid, our Muslim brothers remain in enemy prisons,” she said, adding that her family still hopes for the day when Yasin Malik will return home.

Mishal Malik also highlighted the situation at Al-Aqsa Mosque, stating that restrictions have limited the ability of worshippers to offer prayers.

She further claimed that mosques in Indian administered Kashmir remain locked, reflecting restrictions on religious freedom.

Calling for unity, she urged the Muslim Ummah to come together as one body after Eid and stand firmly for humanity, truth, justice, and peace.

She concluded by expressing hope that the spirit of Eid would strengthen solidarity among Muslims and amplify their collective voice against oppression across the world.
