Sindh Governor House becomes a hub of diplomatic activities on Eid-ul-Fitr

On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Governor Sindh Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met with Consul Generals of various countries, Chief Secretary and IGP Sindh, elected representatives, business personalities and dignitaries of the city at Governor House on Saturday.

KARACHI, Mar 21 (APP):On the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Governor Sindh Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met with Consul Generals of various countries, Chief Secretary and IGP Sindh, elected representatives, business personalities and dignitaries of the city at Governor House on Saturday.
Governor House, according to a statement issued here, became an important hub of diplomatic activities on the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr, reflecting a shining image of global harmony and international goodwill.
The Consuls General of Malaysia, UAE, Oman, Germany, Bahrain, Japan and China, Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh and Honorary Consuls General of Ethiopia, Yemen and Morocco participated in the Eid meeting while Consuls General of Indonesia, Vietnam and France arrived at Governor House along with their families.
In the meeting, detailed discussions were carried out on regional situations and important global issues and an agreement was observed to further strengthen friendly relations with emphasis on promoting cultural ties, educational collaboration and people-to-people contacts.
Governor Sindh expressed resolve to give a new dimension to international partnerships while foreign diplomats extended warm greetings of Eid-ul-Fitr to the Governor of Sindh.
Member National Assembly Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, prominent business personality Mirza Ishtiaq Baig, dignitaries of the city, as well as Chief Secretary Sindh Syed Asif Haider Shah and Inspector General of Police Sindh Javed Alam Odho also met Governor Sindh and congratulated him on Eid ul Fitr.
