Renowned artist Naveed Shabir calls on Governor Kundi

PESHAWAR, Mar 17 (APP): A delegation led by renowned artist Naveed Shabir called on Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi at the Governor’s House here on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the delegation briefed the Governor on their plans and initiatives aimed at promoting art and culture across the province. They stressed the need for establishing dedicated cultural centres and art galleries, particularly in Peshawar, to provide platforms for artists and to preserve the rich cultural heritage of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The delegation underscored the importance of enhanced government support for the development of cultural institutions and the promotion of creative talent in the region. They also appreciated the Governor for his continued efforts in highlighting and supporting the province’s art and cultural heritage.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Faisal Karim Kundi welcomed the delegation and acknowledged the vital role of artists in preserving cultural identity and projecting a positive image of the province.

He assured the delegation of his full support for initiatives aimed at strengthening art and cultural activities, adding that the promotion of culture and creativity was essential for the province’s social and cultural development.
