DG FIA visits zonal office Quetta, appreciates performance of Balochistan Zone

ISLAMABAD, Mar 17 (APP): Director General of the Federal Investigation Agency, Dr. Usman Anwar visited the FIA Balochistan Zone Zonal Office in Quetta on Tuesday.

On the occasion, Director FIA Balochistan Zone, Muhammad Behram Khan briefed the DG FIA on the overall performance of the zone, ongoing renovation and construction work, and various operational initiatives.

The DG FIA reviewed the ongoing renovation and construction activities at the Zonal Office and expressed satisfaction over the progress. He appreciated the overall performance of the Balochistan Zone, particularly its actions against illegal Hawala/Hundi networks, human trafficking, and its role in the campaign against electricity theft.

During the visit, the DG FIA stated that, in addition to other zones, additional budget is also being allocated for the ongoing construction work in Balochistan Zone to further strengthen infrastructure and support more developmental projects in the region.

Dr. Usman Anwar praised the dedication and professionalism of the officers and encouraged them to continue their efforts to strengthen law enforcement and safeguard national interests.
